How to recognize the true Jesus at his return?

Bonjour mes amis ,

Matthieu 24:44
« C’est pourquoi, vous aussi, tenez-vous prêts, car le Fils de l’homme viendra à l’heure où vous n’y penserez pas. » :hourglass_not_done::sparkles:

Only He knows if I’ll be ready for His upcoming arrival, but what I know for sure is that I’ll be overjoyed by His return  . Preparing means staying on guard, watching how you live and keeping your heart right, for His arrival could and would be sudden.
As for your last question, Jesus said: “Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man… they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Matthew 24:30):sparkles:
And: “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16):hibiscus:

Unlike His first coming, His return will be unmistakable and visible to all. He will come as King, to reward each according to what they have done (Matthew 16:27).

Of course, before that, many will falsely claim to be Him. Jesus warned: “For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.” (Matthew 24:5). We know they are not Him because Scripture describes exactly how He will return. Until all the signs are fulfilled, He will not come (Matthew 24:32–34).

So my advice is: trust what is written (We have been equipped with the Bible for a reason), listen to the Spirit, and always return to the Word. It is our guide and our safeguard from God. :herb:

Thank you very much for sharing your opinion @Keren, it helped me gain a clearer idea and find answers to my question. And I am sure that many of us need to hear that too.

I have been waiting for Jesus to return for a long time already. :sparkles: Indeed, no one knows when He will come back: today, tomorrow, or in a few years. But we must always be ready to meet Him at any moment, especially spiritually. :innocent:
To be well prepared for His return, we must stay vigilant, live each day in prayer :folded_hands:, in communion with Him :latin_cross:, and listen to Him through His Word.
To recognize Jesus, it is enough to listen to Him, for He lives in us, He is in our hearts, and let ourselves be guided by His Holy Spirit. :fire:

To answer these questions: Jesus did say that He would return at an unexpected time, which is why He asks us to stay ready as you rightly cited in Matthew 24:44. To prepare ourselves, I believe we need to walk in faith every day and especially maintain a living relationship with Him. :folded_hands: To recognize Him at His return, I believe it will be obvious to believers because it is written that He will return in a visible and glorious manner as stated in Revelation 1:7. This verse announces that every eye will see Him because He will return in a visible and universal way, even those who rejected Him will recognize His royalty and understand who He truly is. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
