Find rest through a humble spirit

Jesus said: “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart" (Matthew 11:29).

→ Pride is exhausting, humility is where the soul finally finds rest.

When someone cuts you off or frustrates you today, respond with a gentle word instead of a sharp one.

Remember, faith is strengthened through repetition, not intensity.

This verse reminds me of a praise song we sing at Easter and especially of Jesus’ sacrifice. He, humble even to the cross.
And that is exactly what He asks of us, to be humble, gentle and full of grace toward others. That is where our hearts find rest.
