Hi all ![]()
I wanted to share something I went through, something that really taught me this truth: Godâs plans are always better.
After finishing my studies, I applied for a job at one of the best companies in my city.
I was vice-major of my class, and since they were hiring three people, I was basically guaranteed a spot.
The salary was great, the company had a good name, honestly, it was a dream job.
But just two days before the interview, I suddenly got very sick.
I couldnât walk, couldnât open my eyes, and ended up in the hospital.
The doctors ran tests but found nothing. I fell into a coma for five days.
My parents were so scared that they even planned to take me abroad for treatment.
Then, after those five days, I woke up, perfectly fine.
No pain, no trace of illness, as if nothing had ever happened.
But of course, the position had already been filled. I was heartbroken. I cried and asked God âwhy?â because I had worked so hard for it.
Two years later, I found out that the person who took the job was sent to prison for a fraud case inside the company
.
It wasnât her fault, but someone there used her as a scapegoat.
Thatâs when I realized, God wasnât punishing me. He was protecting me. ![]()
A little while after I was sick, I met someone who offered me another job â even better than the one I had lost.
And today, every time I think about it, I just smile and say:
âThank You, Lord, for not letting me follow my plan.â ![]()
âFor I know the plans I have for you,â declares the Lord,
âplans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.â
â Jeremiah 29:11
Have you ever experienced a moment when God closed a door⌠only to open a much better one later?
