Jesus said: “Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted" (Luke 14:11).
→ Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.

In your next group setting, let someone else take the credit or the best position without correcting them.
Remember, faith is strengthened through repetition, not intensity.
Of course, Jesus taught us in his Word that humility is to lower oneself voluntarily like Him. Let us be guided each day by his Word and his commandments 
Yes, staying simple and true always ends up bearing fruit. Humility is a strength.
