When nothing changes… God still acts

Hello everyone,

Today, I would like to share that there are seasons when everything seems frozen.

You pray, you believe, you hope… but around you, nothing moves. The sky appears silent, and your heart is tired.

But listen to this: the absence of a sign is not the absence of God.

Sometimes, what God is building in you is invisible, deep, underground🤍. Like a seed buried in the earth🌱. Just because you don’t see the fruits today doesn’t mean growth hasn’t begun.

God is a God of process. He works behind the scenes, where your eyes cannot see but where your faith can believe.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

So keep going💪 Even without proof. Even without sensation.

Your faithfulness in the shadow prepares your harvest in full light. And at the perfect moment, what God has sown in silence will burst into life.

:dove: Keep trusting. God is always at work. :folded_hands:

Thank you for sharing this :slightly_smiling_face: It’s so true! Sometimes, you just have to wait because God’s timing is perfect. And the more we wait with faith, the more beautiful and abundant the fruits will be :slightly_smiling_face::innocent:

I agree, just because we don’t see it doesn’t mean God isn’t working. Thank you for sharing this :sparkles:

Hello guys :waving_hand:
Yes, I agree, but I still have a question  : what about when we don’t receive an answer, or we don’t get what we expected? How can we know if what I asked for will eventually have an answer and I just need to wait :hourglass_not_done:, or if even after waiting it means that thing is simply not meant for me?

So how long should I wait for something when I don’t even know if it’s for me?

I think this is why people often lack patience. Personally, I don’t believe that God doesn’t answer, but I consider that the thing is simply not meant for me :folded_hands:, whereas others think that God does not act.

I completely understand your point of view. And as you say, when I don’t receive a response to the things I asked for within the time I hoped for, I consider that the matter is not meant for me. And I give up, I no longer hope.

And I am used to asking God for a sign to show me the way to go whether I should wait or give up.

And since I believe in these little signs, I see them, and it helps me understand and believe that God is there, and that I just need to wait.

@Prime_Kitten Thank you for your question, it’s so relevant.

It’s true that waiting can be painful, especially when we don’t know if we are waiting for something that will come… or not. But what I’ve learned walking with God is that He always answers, even if it’s not always how or when we expect.

Sometimes, He closes a door not out of indifference, but because He’s preparing another one, better, even if we don’t see it yet.

As you so well said, it’s not that God doesn’t answer, but that it’s simply not what is meant for us. But in any case, He acts, even in the unseen.

Hmm. I’ve personally learned that God always answers, though not always in the way we expect. How do you know if what you’re waiting for is just delayed or not meant to be? Well, He tells you.

In a waiting season, the best thing is patience (it’s not easy, of couse, but we learn as we go).

Wait for what you asked to be given (whether it’s accomplished or He confirms it’s meant for you) or answered (He shows it’s not part of His plan, often because He has something better).

Until He clearly says no, don’t assume it’s not meant to be. If He does say no, then we accept it. Even in silence, He is always working, and His answer (yes or no) is perfect.

I don’t know if this fully answers your question, but I’ve been in that waiting season too. He has already answered me though, with a ‘yes’, now I’m just waiting for it to truly be given. :sparkles:

I think, rather, that if what we ask for is not meant for us, God quickly acts by showing us that it is not the right path. He gives us a sign contrary to what was supposed to happen. But the problem is that we do not accept God’s decision. We end up insisting, staying, waiting, suffering… and sometimes, it’s even worse than that. And that’s why we end up unhappy, sad, or broken.

It is at this moment that we need to pray, because it is only through prayer that we can have a gentle heart and more easily accept God’s will.

@Ejustine I completely understand your perspective. It’s beautiful to have that connection with God and to recognize signs that guide you. Everyone has their own way of dealing with waiting, and I find it inspiring that you are attentive to what life and God are showing you

@Keren You are absolutely right. It’s not always easy to wait, but we learn to trust His will even when we don’t see the result yet.

Wow, I love reading all your feedback :face_holding_back_tears::slightly_smiling_face: Thank you so much for this.

That’s why I really appreciate being surrounded by people who understand what I feel and my struggles. I don’t know about you, but I have so many questions about my spiritual life.

Especially when it comes to the choices I need to make. Often, when I ask God to give me wisdom so I don’t make the wrong decision, His answer sometimes feels too long in coming. But thanks to all of you, I’m growing on my spiritual journey. The road is still very long, and I have a long way to go. I still feel like I’m not fully equipped yet to face the new life that Jesus has promised us.

And you, friends, do you feel ready to embrace this new life? :innocent::sparkles:

I completely understand your point of view, and you raise an important point. It’s true that sometimes, God quickly shows us that it’s not our path. But in other cases, I’ve noticed that silence can also be a test to teach us to listen, to wait, or even to change later on.

But yes, in any case, prayer remains our strength💪.

Personally, I am not ready yet. I still have a long way to go in my opinion before I deserve this second life.

It’s hard to answer this question. I don’t really know, but I’m sure I will do everything to deserve this second chance.

You’re not alone, we all go through these moments of doubt, especially in our walk with God. But what you say already shows that your heart is turned towards Him, and that’s the most important. Keep seeking, asking your questions, even in silence, God is always working.
