Hello guys, ![]()
Today, I want us to reflect a bit. Here is a question everyone should ask themselves often: Am I close to Jesus? ![]()
Being a Christian isn’t about knowing every fact about Him or just following religious practices. It’s about having a personal relationship with Jesus. It’s wonderful to know His miracles, His humanity, and His story, but do you know Him now, personally? Or only as a figure from history? ![]()
When I was lukewarm in prayer, this truth hit me: knowing about who He was is great, but knowing about who He is to you and for you is far more important. ![]()
Matthew 7:22–23
“Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”
This verse reminds us that not everyone who calls themselves Christian is truly known by Jesus. This isn’t to scare us, no, it’s to wake us up.![]()
2 Corinthians 13:5
“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?”
Take time to ask yourself: Do I just respect Jesus, or do I truly know and love Him?
A little advice: Build a personal relationship by spending time with Him. Pray consistently, even if you don’t feel or hear Him at first. Read the Bible, it’s called the Word of God for a reason. Yes, I get that for some of us, it might be boring, but God sees the heart that seeks Him. If you are not much of a reader, try listening to audio versions or watching stories about Him.
All in all, let’s try to know Him as a personal figure, not a historical one.![]()
Jeremiah 29:13
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
