How to escape greed

Hello everyone! :sun_with_face:

Today, let’s take a moment to reflect on what really matters in life. In a world where the pursuit of wealth and possessions seems endless, it is essential to remember that true treasure cannot be bought with money. :gem_stone::folded_hands:

Testimony:

Greed and avarice can trap a person, making them blind to the essential and stealing their inner peace. :money_with_wings: Even when accumulating wealth and possessions, the soul remains unsatisfied and the heart empty. :broken_heart:
True treasure does not reside in gold or material goods, but in the freedom, love, and joy that God offers freely. :folded_hands::yellow_heart::glowing_star:

:dove: Reflection:

This reality reminds us that the relentless pursuit of “more” never fills the spiritual void. :tornado: The Bible teaches us:

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven…” (Matthew 6:19-20). :open_book::sparkles:

Thus, greed distances us from the light and peace. :sunrise_over_mountains:
Freeing one’s heart from greed means opening up to love, humility, and the blessings that God bestows without conditions. :sparkling_heart::folded_hands::glowing_star:

This JesusBYS video provides many explanations and helps understand how to free oneself from greed :backhand_index_pointing_right: Watch the video
