Greed and greediness can trap a person, making them blind to what is essential and stealing their inner peace. 
Even by accumulating wealth and possessions, the soul remains unsatisfied and the heart empty. 
The true treasure does not lie in gold or material goods, but in the freedom, love, and joy that God offers freely. 
Reflection:
This reality reminds us that the relentless pursuit of “more” never fills the spiritual void. 
The Bible teaches us:
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…” (Matthew 6:19-20).
Thus, greed distances us from the light and peace. 
Freeing your heart from greed is opening yourself to love, humility, and the blessings that God dispenses unconditionally.
