How Jesus heals broken hearts

Hello everyone!

:broken_heart: I grew up without a father.
No hand to guide me, no voice to tell me “I am proud of you.”
This void, I carried it all my life. And to fill it, I searched for love, everywhere, except where it was truly found.

I became attached to those who hurt me because deep down, I just wanted to be loved.
But every time, I was broken a little more. Until the day I said to God:
“Take away this heart. I no longer want to love, I no longer want to suffer.”

And yet… it was at that moment that Jesus opened another door. :herb: I didn’t understand it right away. I blamed Him. I shouted my anger at Him.
“Why again, Lord? Why do I not deserve, too, a love that doesn’t hurt?

And one day, He answered me… not with words, but with a person.
Someone He sent to show me what true love is. :sparkling_heart:
Not the one that breaks, not the one that takes, but the one that gives without crushing, that heals without judging.

Through this person, Jesus taught me that love is not a one-sided sacrifice. True love is mutual.
It’s about giving oneself without losing oneself. It’s loving without fear. :sparkles:

Today, I know that I am loved, not because someone chose me,
but because Jesus healed me. :dove:
He made me capable of loving again, not to fill a void, but to share the peace that He has placed in me. :cherry_blossom:

And you, if you suffer, if you believe that everything is over, if you are in a relationship that drains you instead of filling you… know that Jesus is waiting for you.
He doesn’t want you to be unhappy. He wants you to learn to love as He loves, in light, tenderness, and truth. :herb::sparkling_heart:
