Cultiver le fruit de l'Esprit dans la vie

Hello everyone,

Today I want to talk about the fruit of the Spirit. How do we identify true Christians? This question often comes to my mind, and the answer is simple: by their fruits. :red_apple:

Matthew 7:16-20: “By their fruit you will recognize them.”

Many Christians focus on gestures and words. But being a Christian is not about all of that; it’s not about words or even about what we do. It’s about how we live. We should cultivate the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. Loving Him and having faith are important, and if we really do love and have faith, then it must reflect (even if just a little at the beginning) in our lives. :sparkles:

Galatians 5:22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law.”

These fruits show we are in Him. There is this quote that comes to my mind: “You are the only Bible someone is ever going to read.” Our lives in Christ can inspire others to follow Jesus. And that’s one of the reasons why bearing good fruits is so important.:sparkling_heart:

We don’t have to be perfect, but we need to try. He’ll grow the seed.:herb:

:balloon: Here’s what I did to grow these fruits:

  • I was patient and persistent.
  • I allowed the Spirit to work in me.
  • I practiced the fruit.

I still struggle, of course, but patience and practice help. Growth means Jesus is working.:cherry_blossom:

Little reflection: What fruit do you want to grow the most?

Bonjour Keren :sun:
