Hello guys ![]()
One of the most beautiful truths of our faith is that Jesus doesn’t just call us in general, He calls us personally. He knows our name. He sees our heart. He speaks directly to our lives. Isn’t that amazing? ![]()
In John 10:3, Jesus says, “He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.”
That means our relationship with Him isn’t distant or vague; it’s actually intimate and personal. When we hear His voice, it reminds us that we are not forgotten, not overlooked, and not defined by the labels the world puts on us. We have our own identity in Him. ![]()
When Jesus calls us by name, He also gives us a purpose. We are no longer wandering in darkness, but walking in the light of His love, guided step by step. This identity in Christ shapes how we live, how we see ourselves, and how we treat others.
A little personal reflection:
Have you ever experienced a moment when you felt Jesus was calling you personally? How does knowing that Jesus knows your name impact the way you see your identity?
There is this song by JesusBYS on Spotify that particularly touched me. In darkness, we should listen to Jesus’ voice calling out our name. I really recommend it; it’s a beautiful reminder of everything I have said today.
