Hello friends,
Anger is a sin. It reveals our true nature. It brings out our weakest and most wounded side. When we are angry, we hurt with our words. We hurt with our actions. We act without thinking. And afterwards, regret comes.
Regret reminds us that we could have responded differently. That we could choose love instead of violence, patience instead of impulsiveness.
Jesus tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27:
“Be angry and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.”
Anger is not an excuse. It must be controlled. It must be transformed.
Breathe.
Reflect.
Turn your thoughts to God.
Every anger can become a lesson. Every anger can become strength. Strength for forgiveness. Strength for reconciliation. Strength to reflect the love of Jesus. ![]()
Do not let your human nature guide you. Let God guide your words and your actions.
