Hello friends, ![]()
Sometimes, in life, nothing comes to us easily.
Today, I want to share with you how I discovered that perseverance is not bad luck, but a path that Jesus uses to prepare us for greater blessings
.
In my life, nothing ever came easily to me. When I wanted something, I already knew I had to work hard, give everything, sometimes even fall and hurt myself trying
. I’ve cried before even reaching my goal.
Before, I simply thought I was “unlucky”
, that I would never be like others. So I forced myself, without really understanding why…
But little by little, while meditating on the Word of Jesus
, I discovered what perseverance truly is. I understood that it was neither bad luck, nor a curse. It is simply the natural path to reach something precious.
During those moments, I also realized that many things I wanted were not really good for me. While I persevered, Jesus was preparing something else for me. He often led me into situations I did not understand
.
So many times, I was angry
, I blamed Him, I even argued with Him in my heart. But I did not know that if I fell again and again in the same place, it was because right beside it, Jesus had placed something better
.
Each fall was an invitation to lift my eyes to see the opportunity He had prepared
. And when I was tired of getting up, ready to give up… that is when I saw the light
. It gave me the strength to get up one last time. And just after that final perseverance… victory came, even more beautiful than I had imagined
.
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial, because having stood the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” – James 1:12
What to remember
Perseverance is not just continuing at all costs. It is not giving up, even when it is difficult, in all aspects of life:
- In work or studies: moving forward despite obstacles.

- In relationships: keeping patience and love.

- In the face of failures: getting up and learning.

- For our dreams: continuing even when the road is long.

- In health and well-being: staying consistent despite temptations.

- In the small daily efforts: every action counts to build a better life.

What I take away today:
Perseverance is not bad luck. It is a path of training, where Jesus shapes us, protects us and leads us to blessings greater than our expectations.
As in life, the song by JesusBYS “Perseverance” reminds us that every fall can become a step toward victory.
