Hello everyone! ![]()
Very happy to share with you a deep reflection that can trouble many Christians and even those who do not know Jesus. ![]()
Sometimes, it’s painful to think: “Anyway, I have no choice…”
However, it’s even harder to decide when we are faced with two paths, two opportunities, or a dilemma.
Our first instinct as humans is to weigh the pros and cons on each side.
For the more strategic among us, they might talk about SWOT: Strength (what are the strengths?), Wellness (what are the points to watch out for?), Opportunity (what will I gain?), Threats (what could I lose?) ![]()
By following this approach, we will always tend to make a choice that is centered either on ourselves or on others. And God, what does He think about it? ![]()
Galatians “7…What a man sows, that he will also reap.”

Beyond our human character, we have this blessing of being Christian.
We believe in the unconditional kindness of our Almighty God. Sadly, sometimes we doubt Him and decide on His behalf. When faced with two paths, we already make our choice and pray hard for God to fulfill it… ![]()
Let us remember that God fully trusts us and our decision. That’s why He gives us free will and entrusts us with the full responsibility to carry it out afterward. ![]()
Now, the most important thing is not to wonder whether our choice aligns with God’s will. It’s more about remembering the meaning of our existence.
Deciding becomes difficult because we want to have benefits and are afraid of sacrifice. We can use all the matrices and theories of the world to make the right choice according to our view of things. But God teaches us to focus on His kingdom and nothing else. To devote ourselves entirely to Him and not to the accessories of this world: professional career
, family life
, friends
, projects
… We let too many elements enter our lives, which is why we are forced to choose.
The secret? “Seek first the kingdom and the righteousness of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
